I started searching for a climate controlled storage facility and of the several listed in Bismarck,ND this one by far met all the qualifications I required, Secure access, security cameras , code to enter and the staff went above and beyond, I'm releaved to know that where I store the valuables for family is safe and insured. I can even have a trailer to move my belongings for 24 hrs. I highly recommend Five Star Storage.

As I was getting ready to start a project at my house, I realized that I needed to temporarily store 'stuff'. I started looking for 'cheap' storage, but didn't like what was out there. I decided to start looking for 'good' and found 'great' in Five Star. Secure, well lit, climate controlled (I didn't need it, but was nice to have), and very friendly people. If I needed storage again, I would not hesitate to go with Five Star Storage.

I wanted to make the end of the first year of college as painless for my daughter and us. I didn’t want to have to move everything from her apartment in a day. I also didn’t want to have to find room for everything she had accumulated for an apartment for the summer months. This particular storage facility was near her apartment making it easy to take small loads to while she had time to do so. I had never rented a storage unit before and really didn’t know what to expect. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice young lady. ****BTW she should get a raise**** She made it so enjoyable and painless and explained everything in detail which I needed. They really try to cater to their clientele.

Fast and easy renting. Security is great and of course temperature controlled. No anxiety about my belongings in storage.

Very friendly staff- they did not have a unit available that was large enough for our camper- instead of turning us away- they (their idea, without us asking) actually moved a wall - yes you read that right! - moved a wall to make a unit larger so our camper would fit. Now THAT is customer service and customer service you are not going to find many places, if any at all. Highly recommend this new, clean, and customer focused business- hands down the best! ?? 2020 review- Five Star pulled through for us AGAIN this year. We waited until the last minute and had to wait on pins and needles- but we actually got the same unit as last year! I went in yesterday to sign the paperwork and was greeted with a super friendly ‘welcome back‘- rather than a ‘why didn’t you come earlier’- like some places would have done. I absolutely love this place and recommend it to everyone and anyone looking for storage.

When I stopped by to rent my unit, Bobbi took the time to show me a couple of different options and how absolutely SPOTLESS this facility is. The security at this facility is top notch, as well. You’d be hard pressed to find a better storage facility in Dickinson. The call center folks are not local, so you have to talk to them like they’re five year olds when you call—speak slowly and clearly. HOWEVER, leave your info with them, and Bobbi will contact you very quickly and then you’re speaking to the woman in charge, who is actually on the site each and every day. She is a pleasure to interact with. I’m so happy that I rented my storage unit here. I have complete confidence that my belongings are safe and secure.

Recently I purchased a very rare and special 1929 Street Rod from Alabama. I needed it to be shipped from Alabama to Bismarck and put in a good, safe and secure storage facility, where at a later date I could drive up from Canada, pick it up and bring it across the border myself to deal in person with USA and Canada Customs and the necessary process with exporting/importing a vehicle. In looking on line for a place in Bismarck, Five Star Storage caught my attention. I phoned them and started talking with Tricia. She was very professional, helpful and answered all my questions. She made me feel assured that my vehicle would secure until I could come and pick it up. When my vehicle was delivered to her facility, she was there to greet the shippers, supervise the unloading and was with them the entire time as the vehicle was put into the unit, receiving the keys and pad locking the storage unit. Several weeks later, I drove up from Canada to Bismarck and was so impressed when I got to Five Star Storage. A very clean, well secured facility with video cameras and coded entry gate, in and out. The girl that was working that Saturday was very kind and accommodating as she gave me the entry code to drive into the facility. All the paper work was in order and there was absolutely not one problem. Tricia came through 100% in everything she said she would do and you could see that even her staff is a reflection of her, in how she cares to have things operated. A very clean, secure and professional facility where careful detail is not overlooked when it comes to meeting the customers storage needs. Such a great place with great friendly people. I would not hesitate to use them again and absolutely refer them to anyone. I wish more places had great managers like Tricia. Great experience from start to finish. Wayne Kowalchuk Saskatoon, Canada
